I don't how long this will take to finish. but so far here is my basic layout of my new painting. i love trying to do water and reflections so i have added some water to this painting. not sure if everything here will remain in the finish product. i am thinking of maybe a fall type scene. hope you enjoy watching it come together..

so far this is what i have done. just a basic layout.

I wasn't gonna do any work on it tonight but really had nothing to do. so i did some work on it. To tell you the truth, i wasn't in a mood to do any kind of art work today. But for some reason i could not get my mind off what i had done earlier. all i was doing was just getting a idea down so i can work off it later. but i kept seeing this picture come together i'm my mind. well anyways, here is what i did to it so far. it's still a work in progress and to tell you the truth, i am kinda happy about the way it is turning out. and i am never happy with my work.

Love the tree bark, it's quite realistic looking!

Thanks...and i hate doing trees. I'm really no good with them.

I finished this painting. i think it turned out ok. But to me, none of my paintings look good to me. well i hope others like it. here is the finished piece. i did make a few changes.

Excellent painting. The textures are exceptional! Like you, I find I see other peoples work as better than my own. I'm rarely happy with my own work but I'm usually quite happy that I've improved since the last piece of work. The achievement is the important thing and others will usually like what you do.
