Here someone had posted a funny video where the daughter gave one of these boards to her father, right? :)

The life of the designers is very simple and fun. They just need to dream and no matter if the design is feasible. Then the engineers are who rack their brains thinking.
What is surprising to me that I have understood that is allowed patenting only designs (or things), without explanation of the mechanisms to operate this design. It seems crazy.

With the hygiene laws in the uk, your meant to use about 5 different coloured chopping boards to prevent cross contamination from between food groups, imagine the expense.

People who cookd
- may need to check the recipe while chopping the ingredients
- may need to check the recipe while weighing the ingredients
- may even want to weigh ingredients while cutting other things

Fortunately, most kitchens come with separate (and inexpensive) chopping boards, scales, and recipe books. They also feature a very useful measuring cup...

Now how would that thing withstand a cleaver?

Wow, even the cutting board is going digital?
I think some "old" things need to stay the way they are, if it's not broke don't fix it. omd
Interesting idea either way. :D

Poor knives.
Glass is the worst material for a sharp knife.
