Got an interesting result with Healting Tool

I've mainly used the healing tool like the clone tool for light smudging/cloning either for texturing or lighting.

So today I began working on a flyer for a client, and I got curious. I wanted to see what would happen if I used the healing tool on the overall clip after I had cut the background out. Without any color correction, or filters what so ever I managed to get this effect in just a a minute or two.

This is a really interesting idea, with lots of potential, that I've never thought of applying to an image.
Are you sure you're not referring to 'Filter>Enhance>Heal Selection'? :puzzled

Yes I'm sure after I did some clipping (paths tool around body + selection then invert and remove background) I had it in it's own layer, my brush was at 10 and used the healing tool across the whole image and got an astounding result. Saved me lots of time. The image is looking very nice now, and going to add the final touches in Nodewerk to finish it up.

Almost completely done with the heal tool.

I used a smaller size with the fuzzy brush and this came out real nice. Took longer than expected but the result was worth it.

Definitely a good technique to use.
