The myth says that the Sanctuary as the forest around was created by the pulsing breath of the primeval Mother .

there is only one Sanctuary but may it may manifest simultaneously in different places, ages and cultures

For centuries the bloody believers of a perverted cult (regarding a rancorous old Male , a long-bearded wannabe-Deity pretending to be everybody's Father and the only true God ) tried to find and destroy the Sanctuary ,
but the path may be found only when in loving relation with Her ,and Her world and creatures, so the first Crusaders went all lost

Soon appeared more and more Cults dedicated to rancorous old males , all almost identical :
all long-bearded , all pretending to be everybody Father and the only true God
and their followers went so busy to convert or exterminate each other that they soon forgot about the Mother and the Sanctuary

But in the Sanctuary were more and more rumors and raising curiosity about such strange cults
...how could be believed a Motherless , Male-created Universe ?
How was possible? ...how could exist a Father if never was a Mother ? ...and they all deny the existence of the Mother !

The Goddess heard , and start laughing , and for long seemed as she could not stop laughing
till with a joyful yet a bit malicious smile She said

" My beloved children you should already known !
Yes...you are like children to me
and , as always with children, about the Father only hypotheses may be done
... only the Mother is always certain
"

photo comix: i like the top one too, i think the colouring and the background look great. but i also like the cold and unfriendly looking one, i wouldn't want to walk around in it but it's really good as an atmosphere contrast to the top one.

Not totally sure which is the cold and unfriendly, i suppose the greysh that, is true looks almost out of theme, even if also women may have grey moods and moment
... yet seems more adapt to silent severe monks , nothing there suggest a feminine presence

i like the very last too, and that too may look cold ,but i believe is more in theme
