Heya - ACR ( all versions i believe ) used to either be included with Adobe PS, or as a free download as a stand alone RAW editor. Adobe has now gone all funky subscript only, and all free downloads like ACR have disappeared from the website, as has all CS versions, since its now all CC based

I have searched for days and haven't found any website that still has ACR as a free download. There's plenty of websites that ' appear ' to have it, but are just pulling the wool, and filling their files with irritating junk, like snap.do and other rubbish, and not actually including the very file that i was after. Upgrades are no good either, as ACR has to be already installed to do an upgrade.

Does anyone have a copy of ACR .. preferably ACR 6.7 , (although previous versions would be fine) that they could send me via dropfile ?

Yup, i've been there but its either a DNG converter, or its only an ACR upgrade, which needs ACR to be installed already. Trials for all versions of CS have finished, as far as i know

I used many versions of Adobe CS as trials ( its so expensive i could never afford the asking price ) and always had ACR as my NEF raw converter, so i'd love to have it back again.

Dont have PS ( actually CS was what i used ) anymore rod

OK, there's no .exe setup in the zip file. Just Adobe patch installer

Yup, that was the patch installer setup, rather than the main software .exe but thanks for trying !

I think that maybe my option, thanks. I'm so used to ACR that i would love to have it again, but times have changed

Thanks for your efforts - i have downloaded the RAWtherapee option, as i like pretty in-depth editing.

Its yet another program i have to get my head round - having exclusively used ACR for many years, its probably going to be a bit of a shock, but I have some mileage in RAW editing so some things will look familiar, but maybe just done in a different way

I have heard that UFRAW doesn't work with GIMP-2.8.

Therapee is looking ok - just got to get used to its foibles, as i had to do with ACR
