A combination of two scripts here.
Graechans Space Text and my Ice Anything script.
First i ran Graechans Space Text filter (keeping all layers), and then selected the text layer. I then ran Ice Anything on that layer. Then wind at default to create the icicles underneath. Next a supernova on a solid black layer (very top layer), on screen mode. Lastly i colorized the super nova layer.

Nice text!
Is there a way that the edges of the ice can be made more apparent. It looks more like a wind effect then ice.

Most likely if you select JUST the layer and not "Alpha to Selection" as i did, you could probably get a better effect. That way the wind filter wouldn't be restricted to the text outline. ;)

As for the script download location you will have to ask Graechan.

The Space Text script was just a script I wrote to play with a plugin, like some of the scripts in the pkg requested by Rod and PhotoComix they were written to be part of an actual Script and are constantly evolving scripts that I use for my test beds
It seems Rod is having a play with some of them and has caught me out :rofl
the Space Text Script is below↓

:lol Thanks Graechan. I don't know why you didn't post it earlier. It's a wonderful filter. Of course i wasn't going to post it without your permission . ;)

By the way thanks for posting the link to mine. BUT here is the one i used (attached) that you can actually select a color and not just a number. :bigthup -

You will find the script at Script-Fu/Rod/Artistic or something like that. I haven't changed "Artistic" to Alpha to Logo yet. You can do so at your own leisure.
