I am so glad I use alternative storage: 2 external hard drives (320 gigs each). I should probably upgrade to a singular drive.

Anyone who has used a computer can probably empathize with the Flikr employee. It is strange that there is not an recovery system in place (I imagine that the pictures are stored somewhere, just that there is not an automated restore from backup available). It would be very surprising if the user did not eventually get his images restored.

That would **** me off, I just host my artwork on deviantART, I only back up important files, and files of projects I'm working on. (oh, and programs)

I never liked Flickr anyway though

I like the community on Flickr, it has its good sides. The only downside is its in Yahoo's control, sadly. They seem to ruin everything they touch.

I upload all my images to my own Coppermine software.
Trusting myself has never been an issue. :lol

I like Yahoo mail over any of the other ones I've used, maybe that's cause that's the first email I had, and the one I've kept all these years. Gmail is nice too.

A couple years ago (from 2007-2009) I get this question asked quite a lot, "Is yahoo mail spying on me?" and it's a HUGE rumor going all over the net about it, there's this resource where a man says, yes they are, and there's this resource of someone asking on Yahoo! Answers about it, and with this rumor going around Yahoo! lossed a lot of people because of it, yet hasn't announced anything as far as I'm aware of, however there is this article where Yahoo Sells All Its Users Private Email Contents to Spy Agencies and Police, however it might be another rumor.

Myself personally it's not a big dead to be if they are, or aren't as I don't have anything illegal mailed to me, personal info, or naked people just software, and tech subscriptions to keep upto date with technology.

I've been using Yahoo! Mail since 1997; oh noooo. lol

AT&T and Yahoo! combined too so now I have 3 Yahoo!/ATT email accounts. I either have to believe they are not doing an AOL, or accept that some spying is acceptable since I don't plan on loosing my accounts any time soon.
