I just wanted to say hello to all of you here. i have been using GIMP for a few years but recently upgraded to native OSX 2.8 version and i am loving it. i attached a piece i did this last week. i am also a long time practitioner of tai chi and kempo so I thought this was appropriate.

Welcome, your graphic is beautiful. Did you get your version of Gimp from Partha's Place? His native OSX versions always work perfectly for me.
*have not tried it with Maverick, I'm afraid to upgrade until it plays better with Gimp

Thanks everyone glad to be here.

2-ton I downloaded my version from source forge i believe i run mavericks and no real problems except with some brush properties that i have that don't play nice . i think they may be Linux versions but most work for me. I only down loaded this version a few weeks ago. be for i was running 2,0 i think using emulation mode not very friendly lots of crashes . but now i only seem to have problems when the fiel get too large i think i have to up grade my Imac memory from 4 gigs to 36
