I read that this morning. We still break out an old Shirley Temple movie from time to time. Actually, my father in law has a collection, and will bring one over on occasion.

I do.
Before WW2 my grandmother took me to a movie theatre that featured Shirley.
Forgot the name of the movie but she sang "Good Ship Lollipop".
Being a boy of maybe 8 yrs old I didn't like it much.(would rather see a Western).
I was born about 14 months before her.

Watching Shirley movies on Turner Classic Movies right now.

She was a sweetheart alright. You can get all the Shirlley Temple movies from Amazon for a very reasonable price. Yes you can also watch them live from quite a few places. The set would make a really nice gift for small girls for birthdays, Xmas etc.
