I changed to another brick texture and saved it.
Then I cut a hole and filled it with a fire.
Got a suitable livingroom picture from the internet.
Added my chimney.
If you open it in Gimp you can see what the room looked like before.
Gerard.

Like the cool looking fireplace Gerard. I too am just getting over my addiction to this gem, but just like chocolate, you can never really get over it. ;)

Ok, first off, thanks to PM for leading the way on modding the tcl file. I've included 15 additional textures. If you liked PM's textures he used for default on the first mod, you'll have to swap names with those files with ones you want to replace from this new list.

I made one swap of a background image for testing purposes, the original was "curt_green", and I swapped it with my own "wicker1". The rest are original backgrounds.

Enjoy!

Thanks again to Lyle and PM...

The file was too big to attach on GimpChat (16.4 megs), so I will have to link to it here:

THE LINK IS BROKEN!!

now you can change with GIMP( no other software) the .ppm (raw) file 512x512 and the .gif file (64x64) that you find in the bin>image folder
in the zip file attached you can find new texture to substitute New5 files

I started playing with Sculpture Generator yesterday. I forgot it even existed! Here is one just for fun!
A little over the top with colors, but I liked it.

Yeah; SG was one of the first programs I re-installed after re-installing Win10. Also got the TSP (traveling salesman) program working for single line renders. Slowly but surely, I'm getting back to normal. :)

Lyle: How do you install Sculpture Generator? I'm not sure where to put things. It is a stand alone program isn't it?
Windows 7 operating system.

There is no install as I recall pat. Just unzip, put it in your programs (x86) folder and run (double-click). :)

Lyle - from where did you download this program I just tried to get it from www.3dvia.com and my PC started throwing up a host of web site warnings, so I stopped.

The link in my original post had a link to the generator page. Site's below. Not sure where you got your link; hope you didn't get hit with something bad. :)

Just an excuse to play with SG again. I did do some Resynthesizer/G'MIC tricks for resizing. The original also has transparent background by the way (have to retrieve that from link). :)
