Nice, but a bit of aliasing. Was some cut-out involved?

Latest version on Sourceforge (0.3) includes Segment/multiply and evenly divide. I'll let you guess how that works, by now should have the hang of it...

ofnuts, unfortunately I can not understand your question and your observation. My English is very narrow.

I'm talking about this jagged edge:

OK. Thanks. How can I improve this? What anti-aliasing feature can I use when I "stroke path?" Can I use the blur of 1 pixel?

For me it comes from something you did after stroking the path.

Uploaded path-to-shape-0.4.py to sourceforge. Adds the rather useful Star/Spokes shape. The new cheatsheet:

12 spokes, and Circle On Diameter over the results:

Thanks, ofnuts. I'll try to remember what I did. Maybe when I merged the layers.

I politely waited for the answer: Heart and Cykloid (possible - impossible).
I know the answer - can - in a few steps.
It is a pity ... and yet anyway - wonderful thing :clap

Not really a (epi)cycloid... these are circle arcs around a circle...

For the heart there are so many ways to make one that I don't see how to make it simple with just a sequence of points.

I know - it just was a reminder.
I know - it is very difficult .
I know - write yourself - I can not.
Now seriously:
With Your plugins in Gimp - you can achieve more and faster than in Inkscape - unbelievable - but true!
I'm still waiting - unnecessarily?

Yes, unnecessarily, this too much time investment for a rather limited audience. I have other scripts in the works (next one in the pipe isn't about paths...)

Your great plugins require more advanced users.
It's not easy - to understand how it works.
Maybe someday, you'll find time to solve my request ...
I'm really patient in anticipation.
Yours faithfully for the Master Paths :bump

Well, as someone puts it, I'm making Gimp look like Inkscape, one script at a time :) In other words, those who use paths that much should look at Inkscape. One of these days I will :)

I spend so much time in gimp that I fumble around in Inkscape anymore with my gimp shortcuts that it ends up being counter productive. Besides, Inkscape has never been very stable for me. The only time I really use it is when I really need to have angled guides or something overly complicated for gimp. (ie..merge paths properly)

I hearby promote you to main developer for the path interface for the gimp core. ;)

Seriously, gimp is right that it's not a full fledged vector program and it shouldn't be, but it still needs some basic functions to work properly or better.
Path Intersections and merging
Path Groups
Basic Shapes Tools (not scripts)
I could go on.......

Thank you for making gimp a better program. I would be lost without your scripts/plugins. I'll keep pushing though to get this stuff into the core. :)

P.S. My avatar was completely built in gimp using paths.

Working on it again (actually, looks like an almost complete rewrite). Some test results:
