That would be the spiders "abdomen". Crabs don't have an abdomen.

It's just a simple observation.

I have done lots of crabbing, and both of my sisters were born under the sing of Cancer. I've also seen many spiders in my day, and am a big "Spiderman" fan, but I'm no carcinologist or arachnologists or anything like that.

BTW... I was wrong. Crabs do have an abdomen, but it's generally covered by a one piece exoskeleton, and not visible.

Not a crab. I Googled tribal spider, not black crab. The photo is titled, "tribal_spider_by_mtbp-d4zfryi.jpg".
