I'm looking for a script that can produce something like this:



I don't mean the image in case you're all wondering.

It's not Warhol.. but it's similar to it. I can't for the life of me remember what it's called. If I knew that, then I could search for it in gimp to see if I have it.

I can not quite get there. Most of the settings I turned off and some of the generated layers as well.

It might help others if you indicate on the image the part with the effect you want.
The top strip can be tweaked manually with overlays of magenta and yellow at low oppacities (15 and 20)

Interesting concept though and the strips are easily done with the filmstrip filter and a bit of rotating.

The effect I want is just what you see in the image. I've done it once with the script when I first downloaded it, but now I can't remember what it's called or where it's located.

Do you mean the duplication of a layer to create multiple copies?

I don't mean to be rude mackenzieh, but I can see at least half a dozen different things in your example image and you're not giving us any clues what you want help with.

What about 'collage' under film emulation in G'MIC?
oops I have found it to only work on one picture at a time but you could edit each photo in gimp to get the look you want, make three 'film strips', put them together on a canvas and then add text to the final image.

Kevin, you're not being rude. I remember one day messing around in gimp when I had this script added.. now I have no clue what it's called but I do know that it's not warhol but it is similar to it. It has something to do with tiles.. I think. Maybe what I'm looking for is a plugin and not a script. Point is, I was hoping to use what ever this was and now I'm lost because I have no clue what I'm looking for. It's not multi-replication of layers.

It's not collage. I guess I'll end up going through ever script/plugin I have and seeing what they do in hopes of finding what I'm looking for.

It probably is but my problem is I don't know what is it and I could have sworn that I downloaded it, and tested it out.

If you posted the unaltered original image then at least people seeking to help could see what has changed.

The only script that i can find is called, HDR Blending.
You may want to check that one out, and see if it's the one you're looking for.

Saulgoode suggested that you post the unaltered original image, do you still have it? That way maybe they can figure what script or plug-in you used to alter it.

I don't have the unaltered image that was used and I didn't alter the image. It was already altered.

Perhaps it is a Photoshop action that was used. Are you sure the image effect was achieved with GIMP?

It could have been photoshop. I'm not sure if the effect was achieved with GIMP. I do know that I had downloaded a script that did exactly what the altered image does. I just can't seem to recall the name of it or who built it, where to find it in GIMP, or if it still exists. I'm still looking though.

As you're still not explaining what effect you think you're seeing in that image, let's continue this guessing game:
