Chris`s GMIC works

Hey guys!
I begin to use GIMP more again. So here are some of my lastest works
with the help of G`MIC. Some filter overlays and painted splatterbrushes on it.
The frame is made with my own brushes:

OT: I meet an old friend of mine who is the singer in a the clash-tribute band....he ask me to join.
It is a loong time ago when i make music...but now i`m a guitarist in his band now!
I think this is why i`m getting fun for some parts of my life again.
So here the GIMP-part: :hehe

Chris, This is lovely work. Especially, rotten and strummer, where you have large contrasting areas. Pink/red face (rotten) and very pale face (strummer).

the John Lydon one is ace !
i especially like the section-lining (if that is the correct word)

the Joe Strummer one would also look great with less colours
and just the minimal stencil-esque look of the face
matter of taste of course

what is the reason you found the open source program group ?
is it because of the language ?
i prefer international groups
more people, i can practice my english, and in general there are more competent people in international communities

I can record an howto video about the technique behind the pics.

@Esper: I had a forum in the past: "Inkscapeuser.de" and i mean many people
are happy to get some informations in their native language.
On G+ are mostly international groups. So i`ve just made it. :mrgreen:
