GIMP Version: 2.8.10
Operating System: Windows
GIMP Experience: Intermediate Level
I recently noticed that I had 2 Gimp versions installed in my program files. So I uninstalled the two, and did a clean install of gimp 2.10, the latest one on the gimp.org site. I did not erase my user files. Then G'mic claimed it could not start because it was missing a file, so I downloaded a full copy from the g'mic website, and added all the files to my user plugin folder (overwriting what was there already).
Now when starting gimp, I get an error about G'mic. "the application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click okay to close the application."
But I can open G'mic, except the user interface it too large. The buttons for cancel, apply, etc, are totally off my screen, so I can't resize the box by dragging it up at the bottom.
I had the same problem the other day with the ML Bevel Reflect Plug-in. Somehow, adding the scroll bar file resized the UI box so I could access the bottom buttons.
So just now I went to
http://www.gimpchat.com/viewtopic.php?f ... &start=190 and followed Graechan's instructions to add the scrolling file.
That didn't make any difference on the G'mic window. It is still too big.
I am wishing I had just left everything alone, but I haven't visited system restore yet. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
