Those temps look fine. I believe the danger point for a Core2 Quad is ~55C. I suppose you could run a CPU intensive app to see if the temp spikes. There are some G'MIC filters which really tax the CPU. :hehe

Haha, funny you should say that. Yesterday, I was messing around with GIMP, and that's when it first shut down on me. I was using the new Seamcarve filter.
