I sometimes feel the same way Wallace. Every night I go to bed, I wonder if this is the night I won't wake up. I too, have been battling depression. I'm 50 years old, don't have a job, and feel physically sick most of the time. I have a cough I can't get rid of, but can't afford to go to the doctors. I'm an ex weight lifter, and have pains in my body all the time because of it. I walk with a limp, because either my bad foot, ankle, or knee is always hurting. I lost my job of 14 years, and my wife lost her job of 21 years. She was able to find employment again, but for way less than she was making. I don't have any income at all. Unemployment ran out some time ago. I feel worthless most times. I have my occasional moments when I have a good day, but it seems to be getting rarer all the time. It's the domino effect with me. When I get depressed, I think about all things bad, that makes it worse. My dad died when I was 23, he was 48. My brother took his own life at 45, after suffering 3 strokes and a heart attack. I do feel that when I find a job, the burden will be lifted somewhat, but what a road it's been trying to get there. Also, I have had anxiety issues my entire life. I didn't even used to be able to go into a restaurant. I can now, but still don't like to.
Thanks Warrior, you are truly a Warrior.
It's also helpful to know that I'm not alone.
Tomorrow is a new day and things will be better, hopefully. I'm going to get some help for how I'm feeling, whatever that may be.
Thanks again Warrior.
