Number of filters?

How many filters are in the current G'Mic for Gimp version?

The number of filters seemed to increase continuously since I use G'Mic, 500, 600, and with 1.5.9.0 beta it even showed me 707 filters after updating the filters via internet. Was that wrong? I have just installed 1.5.9.2 (and 1.5.9.3 beta afterwards because I didn't trust what I was seeing), Linux 64 bit, and now it only shows 393 filters... :shock:

All filters in the Testing/ category are not counted anymore since 1.5.9.0 if I remember well.
But there are still available. There are really more than 700 filters in the latest version of the plug-in :

(you can always count them by yourself to be sure, but I don't recommend it

Thanks for clarification. What are the reasons they don't count anymore? Is(n't) it way too cool to see and tell the number of filters?

Because some of the Testing/ filters are not finished, and it is a bit cheating to count them as actual working filters.

Graechan : G'MIC 1.6.0.0 is just in beta state for now, it will be a major release so probably not released before a long time.
I've post new beta packages as advances are made on the source code. For now, there is nothing really new for the user.
