my 1st chance!! (update)

i have my 1st chance to make a logo for a company. He owns his own trucking company. It's called "JJ Truckline". he wants The letters JJ written in a ranch style, but i'm sure what he means. also he wanted a skull with the logo. not sure yet how to include the skull in with it. I'll keep you updated on how this is going. i may need a little help going forward.

i don't much about logo but is he sure he wants a skull? for a transportation kind of company? is there something wrong with that? I thought it would discourage people from it.

How about a western belt buckle style?

Very good idea Odin, so it may be on a western hat and put on the tape the initials JJ and the skull in a side.

Maybe he's referring to Western font styles.

Aha, a longhorn skull would be perfect with a western font.

Yeah, a "wild west" saloon sign type of font, and a longhorn skull--that says it all. You'll have to hunt around some for the perfect J

thanks guys...i haven't started on it yet. but i think a steer skull or a whitetail deer skull with antlers would look good to. i'm afraid he wants a human skull though maybe i could convince him though to change it. i'm waiting on his wife to send me some pics to work from. i'm so excited about it :hehe

Good luck with your logo, but I would discourage the usage of a "Human Skull" as part of a logo, given that it's a trucking company.

I like the idea, but I think it's a bit hard to read for a logo, especially when it's small.

he is gonna put it on the side of his truck, so i guess it may work
