perspective scm

GIMP Version: 2.8.10
Operating System: Windows
GIMP Experience: Basic Level

I wrote two texts in the same layer, alpha to selection (ov. both texts) and I run perspetive scm with default settings
here the result in my opinion strange

Sure is strange, how can the light come in from different directions with the same settings? Very weird.
One from NW, and one from SW

Not so strange if you think about creating a shadow manually

Usually make a layer with a blurred black copy of the text for the shadow.
Then skew it with a deform tool.

But in your case that is working on the whole layer, not each text as separate objects.
