Tool options problem (SOLVED)

GIMP Version: 2.8.10
Operating System: Mac OS
OS Version: 10.6.8
GIMP Experience: Basic Level

Hello.
I've had a problem trying to merge tool options with toolbox and have found the answer on this forum. However, as seen on screenshots below, while the tool options are in toolbox, I cannot edit them (change size etc.). Does anyone know how to deal with that situation?
Thanks in advance for any tips.

Somebody seems to have had the same problem: http://sourceforge.net/p/gimponosx/bugs/54/

But I don't understand why/how reinstalling fixed the problem...

Removing the rc files and restarting GIMP may fix it. "sessionrc" most likely.

Removing rc files fixed the issue, thank you for your support, topic's free to be closed I guess.
