Been enjoying the lineart images we have all been using with the BLR script but wanted to try and create one from scratch.

Choose to do a dove, this has been harder than I anticipated and the final result just seems to0 comical, Does any one know of any good tutorials on how to create these lineart style images.

It's only the face that looks too comical, the rest of it is excellent.

Did BRL using this as my "sphere." Did a red layer set to Color over the results.

Thanks Tux. :bigthup
I made the emap using a white to off-white/beige gradient, mapped to a sphere with a few color adjustments.

I got the dove image using a bing search and drastically altered it using paths made form an alpha selection of the image.
There were so many stray pixels in the image, which create lots of unnecessary nodes and segments that required lots of reworking of the paths.

Nice work on the dove images everyone.

Wallace - nice find and rework, not sure I like the head though.
Kit - nice dove, I did do a bit of freehand tracing myself but I was after something more abstract in my final results.

I have no drawing talent; here are two pen-drawn fonts which may be useful.

I did something a little different. I started with a dove drawing found online, then created a black silhouette, with a few modifications, for use with BRL.

Yes I agree, nice work guys. I also agree with you about the dove's head.
