Yeah, maybe a Gimp garden, but not an actual living garden, outdoors and all.

Groni G, your gardens are simply beautiful. I do ok with my garden, just manage to keep enough weeds at bay to keep my flowers and vegetables going. I don't do too many flowers because they take so much work, I have been replacing many of them with perennials.

By your next visit here we have a checkup who have a green thumb
no problem it give People who have not a hand for Flowers, in my apartment you do not see any Houseplants they died all i have no hand for houseplants. But in the Garden all is growing up.

Great to hear it i have a lot of flowers and vegetables too (potatoes, salad, onions, zucchini, cucumber, tomatoes )
it is a lot of work, all flowers what you can see without the lilies and the roses are seed by myself. And perennials came in the Autumn more in my Garden and weeds are not much in my Garden.

I spent today steaming zucchini and cabbage from the garden, to freeze up for winter! They work well in soups and stews.

I traded my green thumb for a plastic thumb. They only melt in the heat.

I don't have much in my garden
except for the pic I am showing now..The rest is all grass.Took the picture right after I finished setting the stones and flowers,which explains the mud around the stones.

Well, I've had a great tomato crop this year but the garden is winding down. Here are a few more pictures of the last of my crop of Brandywine, Cherry & Chocolate Cherry Heirlooms.





The Brandywine and Chocolate Cherry Heirlooms have been tasty and prolific. I'll be growing both of those varieties again next year.

Ugh, you make me miss being able to plant. I miss my mint the most though. Nothing in the world compares to fresh picked mint leaf tea. Nothing.

The Brandywines are great for slicing. I had BLT sliders earlier, with a big slice on each one. Yum!

@EK, I have plenty of mint if you want some, also lots of oregano, Dill, Thyme, Basil and Greek Oregano. I pick it and put it in net bags and hang it till it dries then crush it into small zipper bags. The mint is also good sprinkled on your baked potatoes.

Just picked a couple of giant beefsteak tomatoes from my garden. These weigh in at around 350 grams (1.4 lbs).

Can't wait to try 'em out on a BLT sandwich later today.



I also have Better Bush, Amish heirloom (like Roma), Chocolate Cherry and Cherokee Purple.

They look delicious Tux. Mine are no where near that stage yet. Enjoy!

I have a Cherokee Purple, 4th of July, Better Girl, Porter, and various little salad tomato plants, red and yellow. Only the 4th of July are producing at this point, but this is the first time we have even had ripe tomatoes in June! The lettuce is almost done, most are bolting now, cabbage finally heading up, snap peas just started producing, been picking so much zucchini that I have to take some to work to get rid of them. Cucumbers have lots of little babies on them, bell peppers and okra are doing nothing but looking bad.
