Thanks Erisian. Whoever created Resynthesizer is making plenty of Photoshoppers jealous. I don't see anything wrong with manipulating reality.

Thanks Tux; the trick here is to run anisotrophic smoothing (fake smudge; G'MIC) on the matted path and blend it with the original to taste. I continue to pick up tricks over the years to fool folk. Yes, I've fooled a lot of folk since I started rendering these over 5 years ago. lolol

Adding people (and drop shadow; why folk add people without drop shadow to their renders is beyond me) really is the trick to making these look real.

You can tell it was done by aliens because of the way the crops are bent over without breaking the stalks.

Lost the link when my computer crashed on me Wallace. Tried finding from my online post, but alas, gave up. Will soon try again, but almost for sure got the image from the stock exchange.
