Could you make it like an Iwarp type thing, where it spirals around and then you can drag part up and it would get longer there, and you could make it thicker or whatever.

This would be really cool,

Well I eventually figured out the problem. Basically in its current version the script is completely "local", it computes everything from what the call stroke.stroke.get_point_at_dist() returns: coordinates + slope. Unfortunately in a circle there are always two points that have the same slope (diametrically opposed) but the vectors from the curve (ie DeltaX/DeltaY computed) should have opposite signs if we want to remain on the outer circle (otherwise at some point we switch to the inner circle). So I have to add a "direction" criterion to this, likely by working with absolutes values and computing the sign differently, based on X/Y evolution on nearby points in the original path. This may slow down somewhat the script, but since it's reasonably fast right now it should remain OK.

On the other hand it's rather sunny outside
