Yes. nice glossy effect. There's a pretty cool thread around where members posted various orbs. You might want to check out for info. Found it here.

Thank u for the positive feedback. I will check out that outer ring & bevel thread. I am interested in designing fantasy interfaces with Gimp so I have been just messing around with Gimp. I practice all the time.
