Thanks 'O' 3.2 The main change is that if you set density to min 0.01 you will see that some crystals are not as bright, or not fully formed.

The frost crystal color won't change for me. No matter what color I put in there they come out white.

O change the background type to color first then select a color. :)

EDIT: I stand corrected. It doesn't work for me either.

I think I know what the problem is. The script sets 'crystals' layer to Screen mode instead of Normal.

But it's embarrassing when it happens script is now updated to 3.3 with the - Bugfix for Typo.

Cool. It's working now. I was trying to get some single line paths activated and they kept closing on me. Then I read RobA's post here, stroked the paths with white in quick mask and, Voila! The white strokes turn into active paths. To separate the paths, hold down the Shift key when starting the next path.
