First attempt at creating an xbox sphere.

Pretty good effort, I remember creating one when I first started gimping and the real challenge is the green cross with the lighting effect, which you seem to have achieved really well.

That looks good.
I hope you don't mind, but I gave it a go and this is what I came up with. I'm not into Xbox and I did have to google this sphere to see what it looked like.

Thank u. It took a awhile. I practice with lighting effects all the time. Wait until I post the fantasy interface design I'm currently working on.

I use gradient overlays to get the lighting effects. And bevel and emboss also. I follow Photoshop tutorials as well. I find that I can achieve in Gimp what others can do in Photoshop. Of course I have Gimp extension package.

I tried some bevel and emboss, but it didn't work out.
I made another one, would you like me to post it?
