I know I said 'final post' yesterday but I want to share this outcome, which eventuated from me just trying out the updated script with varieties of 'white line art' I put together- don't ask me why because I do not know!! I tried white lines on black, on transparent and light grey against my favourite sandstone texture just to see what would happen. For this one I just added the white line art on transparent with a value blend to the eventual script output, just to finish it off.

I downloaded this script but it didn't work. So I opened it in Notepad and it looks like this:

The same thing happened also with the Globe View script. Glass Frame and Full Dm generator are working perfectly. Thank you for your efforts with all the scripts!

I am using Win7 64 bit and Gimp is Samj's 2.8.15

attached script files (at least from me) are always zipped (I use 7z, free zip/unzip program)
thus you have to UNZIP the file before placing it into your script folder (it should change from ...xxx.scm.7z to ...xxx.scm once unzipped)
probably (in Win7) it's enough to open the downloaded file and "extract" (click and drag) it to your desktop then move it into your script folder
(same for Globe View)
retry and let me know

Are the textures that dinasset made for this plugin required for the plugin to work or can we use other ones? Also has this plugin been updated and where do we call it up in order to use it?

You are free to use whichever textures you like,
the script was updated to offer a choice what action to take on the pattern: Rescale (to fit image), Make-Seemless or None
when installed the script Menu Location is Script-Fu/Artistic

I got very hot working outside this morning and needed to cool down under the fan; listened to some of my favourite old music and hey presto look what appeared ... one rusty and one corrugated ... ah those were the days!!
