I don't have a smartphone, but, if this technology could ever integrate a phone and a camera, then even I would get one since basically it's now a watch and the only jewelry I wear is a watch. Cool stuff. :)

I've never been one to wear jewelry or watches. I like this idea, but I wouldn't buy this, because I wouldn't use it.

Folks; this doesn't yet really exist. It's just a proof of concept type of project and they are looking for micro-funding for it. I posted this at other forums and got lambasted for it, but I told them that they had a failure of the imagination. It wasn't long ago that there was no such thing as a smart phone for instance. I say one day (and soon) the technology will be possible for such a device and I'm for that. I, however, do not participate in micro-funding any venture but that's my choice. I have to get some immediate benefit if I did. I do donate money for software projects like G'MIC, Knotter, and Fotosketcher (have done so already) but those projects gave me an immediate benefit. Let's see where this project goes. Right now, I don't believe the technology exists. I do believe it can within the next two years though. :)

Yes; I know Odin (see my post right above yours). It doesn't mean it's not possible. Again, I got lambasted for posting the video link (other sites) but I told those guys they had a failure of the imagination if they don't think it could never exist. It wasn't that long ago that smartphones were just a dreamed up concept. This coming year, we will finally get the McFly's self tying shoes (remember Back to the Future?). I won't give to any Micro funding campaign; don't give to product development unless I get an immediate something in return (charities is an exception of course). Still, I do believe this can exist one day or even something better like a smart phone with front and back cameras. I even think it could exist within 2 to 3 years. Those that are cynical now are already caught in a paradigm. This technology indeed could (and will) replace the smart phone. :)

It certainly had me convinced.
It's difficult to tell what's real these days. I wish it would've come with a disclaimer of sorts.

Yes; very deceptive, but, that doesn't mean this won't ever happen Wallace. Again, my bet is that it will within the next 2 years. It's going to be a game changer too. :)

Actually I have seen this Lyle, if not here then probably on face book. Cool isn't it. Makes you wonder what they will think of next.
I probably won't get it though either. I only bought a Galaxy Ace a couple years ago and never had my own mobile/cell phone before that. Can't see me getting one that is right up to date.

I would buy it :) That is if it ever exists. I think the battery would be the biggest hurdle.

Another vaporware, IMO.
Cool, although, not an original idea.
To make it happen they'll have to overcome some difficult technical challenges,
like close to 0 degree projection, zero visibility under the bright sunlight,
natural physiological muscle tremor, just to name a few.
