Chrismas at cottage

Photo is taken of the outer door to the cottage. Temperature out is -22 c (-7,6 F). That red thing is our car.

Photo outside. When it is cold the air becomes so clear thou there isn't moist in the air and the colours come out so clearly.

Would take me a while to get used to it. Especially after living all my life in a hotter country.

Sally, you just need a warm cottage with a nice fireplace where the fire is crackling, and then you may look thru your windows and enjoy that spectacular vision!...at least as a dream!

Yes, it is cold, but you get used to it during autumn. I love the four seasons both in music an in reality. Thank you Sallyanne for the links. 2ton the cold is easier when it is dry. Dinasset, you have right with the fire. I'd like to add warm cup of chokolade to warm up your fingers after being out to take photos.

Here are couple from yesterday. They are not edited more than converted from cr2-raw format.
Here it begins. Sun is setting 2:30 pm.

The whole light show is over in couple of minutes.

I thought that adding saturation would lead to no-one to believ the colours. I also like very much the light pink on the birch bough.
Somehow I feel that your editing is more masculin. It is good just stronger and - masculin.

Yes, Molly, it really is. Warm inside and cold outside. Now it is a bit colder -28 C approx -18 F. It doesn't matter. Trees are covered of thick frost an they are so incredible beautiful. Tomorrow we will be out again. This might be the last real winter we'll have. Thank you for your comment!

dinasset, I really like the first one. Stole it. The second. Hmm, there are a face of a very disgruntled man in the middle. He looks just like the school master we had for ages ago, Iron Lung. Would it irritate you, when I ask: "How did you that?"
