Wow, I heard you guys were getting hit. It's the total opposite on the West coast, the odd rain storm with >10°C (50°F). Sunny this week.

I am jealous. You can't even back out the driveway without worrying about getting hit. Neil is out there now trying to cut back the banks but there isn't many places to throw the snow. It is beautiful to look at but that is all I can say. grrrrr

I also live right behind the main line with a 12 foot fence but I hardly notice it anymore. The snow does muffle it some though. Yes it is very peaceful if you don't have to go to work every day in it.

It's 70F here and sunny. Has been for 3 days now after a very long week of heavy rain, wind and thundershowers.

That's a lot of snow, Molly.

Here in the South East, we are getting slammed with a nasty ice storm. There's already a layer of ice/sleet covering everything, including the roads and it's supposed to continue all night. I'll probably loose power soon and be stuck with no heat for a couple of days.

Got my candles and blankets ready.

It is always good to be prepared, My sister wants it to snow there, She misses Canada, lol. Right now, I would trade. Stay warm with lots of blankets.

There was more snow north of here, so she might have gotten some. We had sleet and freeing rain here, which is typical of Upstate SC winter. We tend to have ice storms more frequently than snow storms. Roads are impassible and covered in a sheet of ice.

About 100K people lost power in the area. I was one of the lucky ones and still have power & internet, although my heat pump froze up. I've been having problems with my heat pump for several years. Seems it doesn't defrost properly.
