I don't think so, right now all the days are bright and sunny and cold, like 0-F. That is quite a statue, he looks like he has one steady nose drip. We had lots of that last year.

Live along the Saint Mary's River and the US is across it. Not very often does the river freeze from one side to the other. This year the river has froze over from one side to the other. The snow fall here has been average only the temps have been very very cold and the North/NorthWest winds have been brutal. On the positive side of things, water levels are expected to rise to normal levels after this. :jumpclap

Is this the St. Marys River that joins Lake Superior and Lake Huron from Ontario to Michigan?

There's a major snow storm underway here. Well, "major" for the deep south. It's coming down hard. We could get up to 8" overnight. The roads will be impassible for days.

Sounds like my sister will be happy down there in Shelby NC. She wants to make a snow man with the twins.

Well, as usual, the forecasters got it totally wrong. We had maybe 2" of snow. It stayed around 32-33 degrees and waffled between snow/sleet & rain.

I'm not complaining, tho. I prefer sunshine and blue skies. I'm ready for :spring.

Me too, I don't mind the snow but I am sure getting tired of the cold, I don't have to go out in it so I watch from the inside out and it is beautiful that way. I am anxious to get out in the flower beds too.

Very pretty Odin. I remember every year we came home from Florida leaving there March 1st. The Dogwoods and Azaleas were all finished in FL but the further we came north right up through Georgia, N and S Carolina, Virginia, Maryland there were dogwoods and Azaleas growing wild everywhere. By the time we got up around the Washington DC area, and Pennsylvania the Cherry blossoms were all over the place. They were all so beautiful.
We would have to wait almost another month before all our blossoms, Daffodils, Crocus, Tulips and so forth would start blooming.

I have lots of snow banks to give away Lyle but haven't got a refrigerated truck to deliver it.
