Here my try Marcello. I don't have "Angular Division" in my MathMap. So I suppose mine is different. :)

very nice Issabella!
to have the Angular_Division in MathMap
1. unzip the attached file
2. go to......>.gimp-2.8>mathmap>expression
3. check your folder "Distorts" with my folder and substitute ( single or all)

I think my folder include all Distorts variations (.mm files)

Everyone has some great ideas for pattern generation. I didn't think about your technicolor/splatter scripts, Graechan. :bigthup

More Swirls.

Very cool GT. The "patterned" emaps seem to work better with rounded fonts such as this.

Yeah. I think it depends on the pattern and the slope smoothing/depth too. I tend to like wider fonts.

I thought the "W" was kinda interesting on this result. I didn't expect it to turn out that way.

I have not yet got hold of the concepts/nuances of 'emaps', but was doing a lot of testing BRL today with both gradient and pattern overlays, single or multiple, that I had put together. I decided finally that, as Wallace says, the possibilities are limitless ...

@gbarkovalev If you want to try to use this great script, here is a mercedes you could use to try it. Wallace did a great tutorial on how to use this script for this purpose.
Just download this and open it with your Gimp and give it a try.

Thanks, Issabella. I darkened and smoothed one of your maps to create this result.

Thanks GT. Amazing how something can look so complicated, yet only take a few minutes to accomplish.
