So, I finally got mad that I can't use MyPaint and downloaded an older version...and it works! So to test out this old version I colored a year old sketch of an African girl using MyPaint (v 0.9.5?) and GIMP 2.8.

In the sketch it was fast drawn but in coloring I tried to keep the fluidity of the pose and the weight of her hat falling to one side. I think it came out pretty good...! I recorded the process I'll put it together and upload later.

The Brick wall I thought fit with African/middle eastern villages and it seems to add texture.

I know I spelled process without an s...just saw it...

I'm having no luck at all coming into contact with your video. I clicked the word VIDEO in the first post, but found no video on the page.

Same with me (it's a Flash video), I can see it with Chrome but not Firefox (my default) or Opera.
These days with HTML5 video you should be using MP4 with WebM or Ogg.

The thing on top of the page is not the video, that's a slide show. When you click on the link you have to scroll down, there is a picture of the process then the video and then the finished product...If you don't see the video then it's your browser.

What molly is showing
