Speedpaint: Trying to catch that moment just at the end of a sudden downpour, when the sky brightens and the direction of the sun again becomes apparent. It will stop raining in a few moments.

All done in Krita. The Yellow gate is from a book project.

I don't know why you say that Griatch, There doesn't look to be anything easy in that painting, unless it is because you used Krita. I have it but it looks like it is very complcated to learn.

No, Krita has nothing to do with it. But as far as painting skill go (on the computer or outside it), making surfaces look wet in this way is pretty basic stuff that relatively easily produces nice-looking results. So in that respect this is not a very technically challenging image.

It might be a personal thing though, admittedly. At least in my case I have to spend a lot more effort making the pages of the crossing borders comic. Anatomy is trickier than geometry IMO.

I guess it is just me then... landscapes are my thing but I know what you mean about the Anatomy part, I suck at that.

Landscapes are fun to do, indeed. Also, people don't tend to not notice errors in a landscape quite as easily as they do errors in human anatomy - we are all very specialized in seeing humans after all.
