I have always wanted to take a photo of hands holding a lighter (as you light a cigarette, i like the lighting it makes). But i can't because i need one hand to hold the camera.
So I thought my not compose it.
So I took picture of my left hand with right hand holding the camera,

Then took a picture of my right hand holding a usb stick (only because the lighter is downstairs and i didn't feel like going downstairs)

Then I went on the internet and found a picture of a lighter.
Then later found an image of a flame lit from a lighter (I just copied the flame and then color to alpha [black] to just have the flame glow)
I can't draw that well so composing is good.
Plus the lighting is off, since this is taken in day light it's almost the opposite of what it looks like when the light is lit from the center so I selected parts of the image and inverted it to see the reverse lighting conditions.
And then after composing the image, I selected some colors (pretty much only 4 colors), painted blobs of paint with brush tool then smudge the heck out of it.
And here is my result

I thought the colors look off so wanted to see if it looks better in black and white, so here

I really like the black and white version and now that that's done i don't have to wonder what it would be like to have a photo taken of the two hands holding a lighter.

Thank you,
Composing wasn't perfect, as I realized when i lit my cig, I can see 2 curled fingers from the left hand and so the lighter is deeper in the pocket of the left hand ...oh well.
