When I first started using GIMP last October, one of the people who gave me terrific feedback/support was Dinasset, who also produces some brilliant scripts, which I used consistently! One particular script, 'globe view of an image' I used regularly for creating spherical e-maps but not much else. This morning I accidentally used it on the wrong layer (not unusual ) but decided to further explore it from an artistic view ...







So I just want to say thanks very much Dinasset for both your scripts and the personal encouragement you provide. Forza Juve!

oldmangrumpy: that's a really interesting effect! some really nice results you get with that script. i like the suns that go smaller and smaller and that first image best. what's in that last sphere, by the way?

I have to agree with Anmal. I like the suns best. Really stood out. They are all good though. You are doing really well OMG and I'm sure your creative skill helps make the most of what you have been given.

I want also to give tribute to Dinasset for his helpful nice scripts and this one is really amazing.

@Anmal - that third sphere is from my photo of a dolphin; we were on holiday at a beautiful, but remote place, called Monkey Mia in Shark Bay Western Australia. There are families of dolphins which come right into the shore to be fed by hand by the rangers and my wife was also selected to be one of the lucky visitors to feed them!

The sunset image is also from a photo I took on the evening sunset cruise.

Thank you Graechan - said it before but for those of us who do not draw or paint, you scriptwriters are our 'paintbrush'

A few more pics to finish my 'hommage a Dinasset' thread. The Menindee Lakes are, in their prime, a wonderful if shallow wetland over 1200 kilometres inland, south west of Sydney. Right now through drought, lack of flow from much further north and overuse for irrigation purposes, they are just about dried out - very sad for the local wildlife and migrating birds.

However, they can provide an exotic canvas for artists and photographers ...







... so Dinasset, I did not require your water reflection script for these but I did put a glass frame around two of them. Thank you again for your scripts and your support.
