I realize this is totally off topic but it's a major announcement for those who love the game.
Blatter says he will resign as FIFA president

On a side note Canada is hosting the Women’s World Cup.

Sounds like he plea bargained w/ powers that be as a get out of jail card Odin, but now I'm being a bit cynical and definitely political. :)
