What battery manufacturers fear.

Fantastic; now when/where can I buy one of these. My Harmony 650 eats through batteries (have to literally replace them every 35 to 40 days).

Some good BS here. The "dead" AA batteries I take out from most devices at home (wireless mouse, gamepads, radio sets, TV remotes, bike headlamp...) are around 1.0V. A 1.3V battery is like new. And these 1.0V batteries will still have a long career powering wall clocks (the good ones will usually drain them to 0.7V before stopping). And on devices with high power drain the real solutions is rechargeable batteries.

NiCad's spec is 1.25V!

This device will even boost rechargeables to 1.5v, but I would recommend not using it since if you drain rechargeables too much, you could damage them.
