I have a favourite (semi private) native garden centre, called Boongala, a few kilometres away, situated in an area where the owner has re-established an old rain forest. The gardens are magnificent examples of Aussie native flora and native animals.

Mal & Jenny, the owners, have placed hollow logs up in the large gum trees in the renewed forest to provide almost natural homes for the ring tailed possums. They have posted some beautiful photos of the new residents -

Such cute animals I wish to visit Australia some day
