I have had a number of almost complete works in my XCF folder for some time and this is one I finished today. The concept is the hope of escape into freedom. I hope it comes across.

I like your new look Aris. Your skin smoothing is very good and I like the way you blend the other things into the composition.

erisian: i think this one is fantastic. her hair is one of my favourite parts of it, i love the texture and volume and colour of it. for my part, i think the point comes across, but there's always the chance that depends on me knowing you very well by now. i like how the lupins (if that's what they are?) turned out in the end, i like the soft look of them and how naturally they seem to be framed by the whole. i also like the wall itself, and i agree with molly about the blending of the different parts of the composition.

Thank you everybody. I have been playing so much with Shock's texture brush (GPS) and gradients it is giving me lots of inspiration. Foliage, her hair and dirt on the concrete were all done with the same brush.

Very nice! I like the detail in the background. Did you use a texture for the wall?

Thank you. The wall texture was created using a plasma cloud as a bump map for a grey layer which was then coloured using an overlay layer and dirtied using some GPS brushes.

Love the texture on the wall! Nice composition and I like the eyes much better than your other eyes.
