GIMP Version: 2.8.6
Operating System: Windows
GIMP Experience: New User


Hello I would like to upgrade GIMP. I am currently using 2.8.6 on a Win 7 laptop.

Do I download and install GIMP 2.8.14 or must I uninstall 2.8.6 first?

Download and it install over 2.8.6 (no need to uninstall 2.8.6). :)

What all files are there in 2.8.14 which aren't in 2.8.10 ? Please tell all script files and updates in tools.

any installation of Gimp replaces ONLY the files in Program Files, NOT the user folder located as
...(yourname)/.gimp-2.8

As it's not a major version increase, the only changes should be bug-fixes:
