GIMP Version: 2.8.10
Operating System: Windows
OS Version: 10
GIMP Experience: New User

I have just noticed since I have windows ten I no longer have the microsoft film/video maker (It would always crash any way).
Is there a way to splice videos in gimp? I have 2 small 1's that I want to merge into 1.

Video can't really be edited using Gimp.
Windows 10 no longer supports Movie Maker. You'll need to find some other software to use for editing your video.
There are a few good free one's out there, but I can't recommend any, because I haven't used them.

As you said... google and see what's available. Maybe someone knows of one they can recommend to you?

Found one but I don't know whether to recommend it or not. Does the job,,,It is a free download (FLV Free Video Joiner) converts in at least six different file types.

Yes as Wallace said, there are several good video splitter and joining software out there, just google them. I did send you one but there are many free ones.

Here's a few at Gizmos Freeware (reliable), Best Free Software to Split, Trim or Join Video Files.
I use the small but powerful Avidemux for quick video edits, in your case the Append option would do the trick.
