Hey. Was going to use this as an ebook cover for a short story about three teenagers crossing a not very frozen river. Any suggestions for improving it or feedback at all is welcome. Thanks.

Looks good, can you post a larger version?

Your image really screamed for perspective to me.

Something like this maybe?

iggy: i think the overall layout looks fine and well suited to the title and theme of the story. the font colour of "a short story" surprised me a bit and i think i would have chosen something more neutral, but on the other hand it sort of provides a link between the big red text and the softly coloured background, so maybe it's a better choice than i would have made?

Thanks. I don't have a larger image at this point.

That has a lot of energy. I'm afraid though not a few people would think the cover designer screwed up.

No, you're right, AnMal. That pink in "a short story" is lame. Whatever happens that will go. Thanks.

Here's a new one. The river looks a little more frozen in this one. Not so sure of the font though.

Haha- I just dropped text on top of your image - didn't mean to imply that both sets should be there :D

Ha ha. Too funny. Here I thought you had some new technique I wasn't familiar with. (Maybe that's how such things are discovered!)
