Operating System: Windows
GIMP Experience: Basic Level


I decided to use the Foreground Select Tool tonight.
After hitting enter and pasting my image onto a new image.
My image turned out really light, when photo is darkish looking.

Why is the foreground select tool making my image really light?

Any help is appreciated here.

Thanks for posting that video, I watched it and then tried it myself and it actually works so much faster than trying to manually outline something detailed!
