For Paint Tool Sai User!

Operating System: Windows
GIMP Experience: New User

Guys,Im new to Gimp and I wanna ask on how to make an Outline Drawing using Gimp 2...If You know Paint Tool Sai, there was an other layer than the normal layer which can be use to make outline and it will be smooth when we draw it...
So where can I find it in Gimp 2?

GIMP is a layer based drawing tool so you need only create a new layer.

To create layers, Layer → New Layer or the context menu of the Layers Dockable Dialog (to the right of the canvas).
If you don't see the Layers Dockable Dialog, Windows → Dockable Dialogs.
F1 key is Gimp Help.

Give the Essential GIMP Tutorials a go.
