I am going to proceed to other folders and hope someone can get back to me on this

Or that one

Willy make sure they are in whatever directory your program for gimp is in.
yourprogramforgimpdirectory\your gimp version\lib\gtk-2.0\2.10.0\engines - DLL files
yourprogramforgimpdirectory\your gimp version\ect\gtk-2.0 - gtkrc file
yourprogramforgimpdirectory\your gimp version\share\themes - theme folders

On another note i finished the new setup for themes in windows XP
you can download it here it includes 125 different themes. :) size is 3.8 MB
No download link until further notice and testing

Just follow the install directions which are for XP
For Vista they will be different, but just make sure you install them like i stated above.
In your version of Gimps directory. (where you installed gimp)
Gimp-2.7.1 / Gimp-2.7.2/ and Gimp- 2.6.11 have all been tested in Windows XP, and work fine.

By the way PC i can not get Robs script to work at all.
I have my theme selector installed in C:\Program Files\GTK2-Runtime\gtk2_prefs.exe
I made the correction in the python file but it still doesn't work for me.

I was looking in the GIMP Directory I did a search of all of my whole GIMP2.7 folder and I did not find a Folder Called Engines Anywhere.

Portable doesn't have python unless you hacked it in there :lol
I was thinking of doing that.

Willy that folder is there under
GIMP-2.0\lib\gtk-2.0\2.10.0\engines if it isnt create it (the directory tree)
I know you have at the least GIMP-2.0\lib\gtk-2.0\

Okay scratch that i installed Python into portable :lol
Of course the machine you port it to will have to have python 2.6 installed for it to work outside of your computer. :)
I'll get a package together and upload it soon.If anyone is interested.

Willy that could be the font style in the gtkrc just delete all that font stuff in the gtkrc file.
It is probably trying to call sans ms and you do not have it.I thought i commented that out.
#style "user-font"
#{
   font_name="comic sans ms 10"
#}
# widget_class "*" style "user-font"

You could put a font in there you do have it has to be the system name for the font.
First line is font name and size you want
The rest you do not need to change.

Yes it will run Aurora Midnight as default (which is my theme).
Directions on changing themes are included in the install agreement file. :)

I tried that and nothing Changed, I have a different Theme that is available through Preferences them, and I think that is overriding this. How do I disable that and have these run?

Just delete the path (click the path and then the trash can) in the add path dialog for themes.
The only path you should need is to your gimpInstallDirectory/gimp-version/share/themes folder
You have Vista so i am not sure of it working for your platform (which is what i stated in the install agreement)
It has been tested on Windows XP only, but it should work on any windows 32 bit system.

Also check to see if you have a gtkrc file in your user directory (delete it if you do)
Gimp will rewrite it dont worry.

I have the Path for the Themes set to where you had me save your themes because I had to place the GTRK file into a folder there directly to get a theme to work.

I did delete the GTKRC file from my user directory

You shouldn't have to change anything with the install directions Willy.
Place the files in each folder in the install package in the folder it states in the README file.
I also included install instructions in the Install agreement file.

You sure you installed everything into its correct folder?

Yes I am as sure as I can be, maybe I should try testing it in 2.6 to see if it is Vista? Or do you have it working in 2.7?
