Well, I guess I'm not understanding how things are arranged.... I have downloaded the plugin but I can't find the two scripts that are required... I have gone to the other site and searched and I just get the plugin, but not the extra scripts. I keep watching the links above roll by but have never seen the scripts I need....

I use fully updated GIMP and G'mic in Linux....

I just need
fill transform .scm
and
mozaic tile.scm

Edit; I apparently need script-fu_mosaic_tile_helper as well....

:tyspin

I did dinasset - and just to make sure before I did, I deleted the old scm file then placed new one in the scripts folder. Restarted Gimp, ran it again and got the same error message. Thank you for helping me anyway.

but the error message is clear: procedure not found; it is in a place not accessible. Do you have a resource manager for your Gimp?

Thanks, dinasset! It seems to work very well!!! (This is a "fringed" tulip I photographed at Butchart Gardens in Victoria a few years ago)

the easiest way is the following:
1-identify another script (additional) which is detected by the system
2-identify in which folder it is inserted
3-insert there also the tile-helper
4-check how that folder is set visible to gimp: directly or thru a resource manager?
5-if directly only refresh
6-if thru a resource manager, unlink that folder from the RM then relink it and refresh

Dalia, to check whether the script is accessible, use Help in Gimp and look for the name: if not shown, it's not accessible...

I do like the outcomes, dinasset.
The only thing, the filter darkens the photo.
This is the original one.

With the mosaic it looks like a red flower.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Very beautiful outcome meemaw :kpix

Dalia, good luck :sham

Yes, Ella, the filter stretches all the colours.
A partial (only partial) remedy is to set the mode of all 4 top layers to "Screen": you get it lighter, but still more red than rose....sorry

It doesn't matter, dinnaset. That was the only remark I had, because you asked for it :)
BTW thanks for the filter.
