"N" is overated anyway... :hehe

I personally have no use for the letter N, but I felt compelled to include it so as not to bring down the wrath of the Pro N lobby.

:lol :lol :lol
Nice B! X Y and Z seem a little crammed compared to the other letters, though.
Could be my eyes though.

Thanks, guys!

I slapped it together before heading to work the other night, so I spent some time trying to tweak it this afternoon. Other than selecting all with the control-A, and playing with the spacing between every letter, it will not let me manipulate the text. I can't just select two or three letters and tighten them up. It has become somewhat exasperating. I will try again today, if I get a chance.

Maybe not perfect, but much better. I put the text on the path, converted it to a path, ungrouped it, then tweaked it individually.

Okay. End of the project. It has lost it's zing. If it ever had any. One last combo image made in GIMP.

So do I. The only issue would be the scale-ability. It couldn't be very small.

You may not believe this, but the letter C was the hardest.

To bad you're not going to continue making the entire alphabet.
I would have liked to see it and perhaps help to make it a font.

Steven, it's a hard but great project. You are talented. :bigthup :coolthup
Take your time for that, if not, you'll get tired yourself. Good job! :clap

What font are you using for this project?

The framework for the shapes is the default sans-serif that comes packaged with Inkscape, but the font I am building with is called Baltar. it has a Free for Commercial use license: Baltar Font at DaFont

Okay, thanks Steven8.
If you create the letters, however you want.
I'm willing to put them all together and create the font.

Wow! Thank you. I will continue, and I'm excited about seeing them as a font!

Alright! :yes
I'm excited too. Image

This is what I have thus far.
You need to be as consistent with the size as you can.
I'm creating the font template from your letter images, which will be used to make the font.
They are red for now, but will need to be changed to black.

It's going to be strictly an uppercase font, but if you want to create numbers
and a few punctuation's.
That would be really nice as well. ;)

It looks really cool so far. To be honest, I haven't been that careful with exact height, up to now. I've been using the stroke set at one with a transparent fill to place my letters, but that's about it. I will be very careful from now on. I'll do 0 - 9 in numbers. Punctuation will be hard to decide what to do, since the aim of the project is to have every letter in ever image. Hmm.

We don't need no stinking punctuation. :hehe
Anyway... it's up to you.

A really cool project Steven8! I love what you've done here :). I've never tried Inkscape but I love the idea of creating your own fonts!
